Renaming/Resizing Pictures

I'm having trouble renaming my images as well as resizing them. Every time I edit the image and update it, it doesn't rename the images... Not sure why it will not save my changes. With regards to the resizing, my horizontal photo seems to be resizing correctly but my vertical ones are automatically resizing to 685 × 1024.



Any help is much appreciated!
